friends student waste lot of money and time because of the ignorance about Mtech Admission and not able to decide where to apply for Mtech admission.i have experience with the Mtech admission and normally for which range of rank you can get where admission? i have categories the Mtech admission according to the Rank in GATE exam.
because GATE MARK you got doesnot matter for Mtech Admission rank which you got really matter for MTECH admission.and the rank range changes according to the category wise like OPEN/OBC/SC/ST.for SC/ST caste student my fairly advise is apply everywhere because no one knows normally how many students are above my rank in category.because their no provision in GATE Score card to show your rank category wise.my fairly advice for student who have aspire for Mtech admission in the IISC/IIT prepare well for interview also i gave given link above for tips for interview refer it.

the below statistics is given on the basis of cutoff from the past year and this number shows the higher rank upto which student can apply for particular institution for Mtech Admission
for Mtech admission in IISC.
